Poll of the day

September 6th, 2007 12:32 pm · 0 comments

Franklin & Marshall's Keystone Poll largely focused on presidential and statewide politics, but also asked a question about the proposed smoking ban of 585 adult residents of the state. While 90 percent said they believe second-hand smoke is either very or somewhat harmful, fewer than half — 46 percent — think the state should ban smoking in restaurants and bars. Most of those surveyed, 53 percent, think the decision on whether to allow smoking in the places is best left to individual business owners. What do you think?
