Wheaton Raises $63,741 at 1 Event

Heidi Wheaton’s campaign for Lancaster County commissioner raised $63,741 at a fundraiser held Thursday night at the home of Pat and Beulah Stillman in Penryn. Wheaton, who is one of four Republicans seeking the GOP nomination, also got additional pledges for contributions, the campaign said in a news release today.

The Lancaster County Commissioners, in a 2-1 decision, voted this morning to appoint Tom LeCrone to a pivotal seat on the Convention Center Authority board. LeCrone, a consultant from East Hempfield Township who served four months as a special consultant to the commissioners, has raised questions about the $170 million project.
