Lancaster New Era staff writer Diane M. Bitting has been dragged kicking and screaming into the blogosphere.
As somewhat of a Luddite - a person who doesn’t exactly embrace the latest in technology - she is resigned to occasionally posting a random thought or two on Teen Weekend’s blog.
But she is eager to read the insights of the more technically savvy teens recruited to be Teen Weekend’s official bloggers and to see what feedback they get from other teens.
And, she admits, it could be a good forum for an old person like her to find story ideas for TeenWeekend, which she has been writing for since 1991, when her daughter - who is now a teenager! - was born. She, her husband and daughter live in Elizabethtown with their two dogs: a big, gentle Labrador retriever and an evil (but cute) Chihuahua mix. Hey, maybe she’ll warm up to this blogging thing after all!
