Molly’s Celtic celebration

March 13th, 2009 12:17 pm · 0 comments

Molly’s Pub, 253 East Chestnut St., will be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day and its 20th birthday Tuesday, March 17. Things get under way at 7 a.m. with bagpipers circling Musser Park. (Put down your pikes and staves, people, this isn’t “Braveheart”!) An Irish breakfast will be served starting at 7 a.m. and running until 11 a.m. At 7:30 a.m., Molly’s will receive the annual “Blessing of the pub” by the Rev. David Peck of St. James Church. (Amen to that!) From 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Molly’s will offer a special Irish dinner menu. An Irish band will perform 5-9 p.m. and a DJ will take over in the upstairs dining room 10 p.m.-2 a.m.
