Harrisburg-area playwright Randy Gross, the founder of Winter Radio Theater, has been named one of five winners of the Emerging Voices Playwriting Competition. His 10-minute play will be staged at the Lincoln Theatre in Washington, D.C. Thursday, March 5 at 7 p.m. His play, “Bread,” revolves around two fathers, one in Pennsylvania, the other in Iraq, who communicate by letter while struggling to keep their tiny bakeries afloat.
