McCaskey’s artistic outpost

mccaskey2.jpgmccaskey1.jpgJ.P. McCaskey students have established a home for themselves at Building Character’s ArtMarket. Students (and alumni as well — several works by Matt Klingelhoefer can be seen to the left in this photo) have been displaying artworks and a collection of attractive, street-art, pop-art influenced T-shirts, and there’s even a giant piggy bank for donations to the McCaskey’s art program. At the Jan. 2 First Friday, senior Jazmin Santiago presented her culminating project, the Micrography Show: pictures rendered entirely in tiny writing. Santiago (shown here demonstrating micrography) directed an entire class in the project, and the works were on display at ArtMarket.
