Some Fall Artwalk notes: artist Matthew Cherry will offer informal talks and answer questions about his exhibit at the Pa. College of Art & Design, 204 N. Prince St., 1-3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 18-19. fauxREAL continues through Nov. 17 and features colorful, larger-than-life portraits and nudes.
Stinging Nettles, with special guests Gringo Starr and the Money Notes will be playing at 8 p.m. Saturday at Senorita Burrita, 227 N. Prince St.
The Keystone Art and Culture Center, 420 Pearl St., will be holding an outdoor art fair 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday, as well as pouring bronze 2 p.m. Sunday. Artist E. Gibbons, whose “Box Series,” stylized paintings of nudes, is now on display at the gallery, will be on hand, and other events are planned as well.
Child Nouveau, a jazz-funk band, will be performing in the garage at the Annex 24 Gallery, tonight (Oct. 17). The gallery will hold a pumpkin-painting event Friday and Saturday as well. (More Music Friday events here.)
