‘Stranger’ returns, and more

Paulette B. Maggiolo will appear Sunday, July 13, 1-3 p.m. at Aaron’s Books, 43 S. Broad St., Lititz to discuss her life in France and sign her new novel, “The Terrorist Trap.” Call 627-1990 for more information.

The Celts are all over the region. The Barra MacNeils, six siblings from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, will be performing 7-9 p.m. Friday, July 11, at the Reading City Bandshell at City Park. (Directions here.) The concert is free; bring blankets and lawn chairs. No alcohol or smoking; food will be available. Gently used children’s books will also be collected at the concert for the Reading “Cops and Kids” program. And the Adams County Irish Festival is slated for Saturday, July 19 — details here.
