The city of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Museum of Art have declared Thursday, June 19, a day of appreciation to honor the museum’s Museum’s longtime Director and Chief Executive Officer Anne d’Harnoncourt, who died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 1. The museum will be open free all day, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and there will be a tribute ceremony at 6 p.m. on the East Terrace, at which the Philadelphia Boys Choir will perform.
