It wouldn’t be summer without lemonade, and it wouldn’t be summer in Lancaster without the Lemonade Concert Series. Produced by OperaLancaster, the concerts will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday evenings at the Church of the Apostles, 1850 Marietta Ave., starting June 19. Here’s the schedule:
June 19 - Voices of the Future: Jean Bradel and Millersville University students Georgia Katsourides, Leann Hart, Derek Martin, Karen Doughty, Sarah Martz, Anja Homberger, Diane Huber, Jill Wiley and Olivia Sallavanti, with Maria Thompson Corley on piano.
June 26 - Love and Marriage: Michael Popovsky, Sherrill Wesolowski, Tara Montgomery, Kristin Sims, Derek Martin, with narrator John Darrenkamp and accompanist Simon Andrews.
July 10 - Duets with Darrenkamp: Sherrill Wesolowski, Elliot Starenfeld and John Darrenkamp, with accompanist Sue Fry Wickard.
July 17 - Solos and Duets for Soprano: Elissa Quinn and Barbara Denlinger, sopranos, with accompanist Joan Allen. The program will include works by Handel, Bellini, Rossini, Gounod and Faure.
July 24 - Christmas in July: Elizabeth Trostle and the vocal group Sound Reflections, Tom Cozzoli and Joe Wells, with accompanist Don Trostle.
July 31 - Bellaroca and Other Tasty Treats: Ellen and Konrad Fritz, Monna Hastings, Sharon Potts, Lisa Moore, Larry Gessler and Patricia Foltz, with accompanist Mark Cole.
Aug. 14 - Perfect Summer Fare: Kristin Sims, Emily Riggs, Saralee Riggs, Doug Rowland and Jim Riggs. (Accompanist to be announced.)
Aug. 21: Boy Meets Girl: Leslie Stauffer, Mike Anderson, Bob Hahn, Amy Yovanovich with accompanist Sue Fry Wickard.
