It was a pity that last Saturday’s Metropolitan Opera production of Philip Glass’s Satyagraha was not one of the ones slated for HD broadcast. I caught some (not all) on the Saturday afternoon broadcast on WITF, but wished I could actually see the staging, which by all accounts is spectacular.
