Sort of taken aback at some of yesterday’s election results. The West Lampeter referendum, can’t say I was too surprised - the margin of victory was less than 400 votes out of more than 4,200 cast. You could really characterize it as small town Lancaster County versus a growing Lancaster County - with the latter […]

Randy Gockley, a member of the executive board of the South Central Task Force, confirmed Kacskos’ statement.

So with all the votes counted, Obama garnered more votes than Hillary here in Lancaster County, 27,126 to 22,710 - 54 percent to 46 percent.
That just amazes me.
Lancaster County Democratic registrations soared this year, with more than 12,000 new voters registered since last November. The local party was hoping for 10,000 by this November; they’re way […]

With 32 percent of districts reporting, Smucker is crushing the competition, with 2627 to Paul Thibault’s 1292; Steve McDonald with 1071. All subject to change - but I’m not sure anyone expected Smucker by this much, if it holds.
Update: Now with […]
