As if. Whatever happened to the “bee” girl, anyway?
You’ll remember that back in January and February, we couldn’t buy a snowstorm. Every storm seemed to go around us; nearby counties would get three to five inches, we’d get a dusting. If that. And the stats bore it out; Millersville’s weather center tells us that in January, precipitation was 1.24 inches below normal; in February, a full 2.14 inches below normal, and March, 1.74 inches below normal.
Fast foward. In April we were 0.83 inches above normal; in May, 1.21 inches above normal, and I’ve got to question that figure because the downpour from hell last week dumped 2 inches in my yard (via the rain gauge), tho Millersville measured it at 0.91 inches. No wonder we can’t get a kids’ baseball game in - with another cancellation looking likely tonite.
