Too dangerous for our jails?

This is actually a really good call - if you’ve been following the debate over closing Guantanamo, the big right-wing argument (co-opted, unfortunately, to too many spineless Democrats) is that the terrorist suspects housed there are simply too dangerous to be transferred to American prisons - as if American prisons don’t already incarcerate the likes of Charles Manson, and couldn’t possibly keep Teh Dreaded Terrorists from breaking out and wreaking havoc on the homeland.

But if that’s the case - aren’t those would-be terrorists nabbed last night also too dangerous to be kept in U.S. prisons?

Said as nicely as possible-we don't stop everyone else coming over here-why not let them in as well?

You don't understand Gil. These are Al Qaeda terrorists. These are GIANTS! Do you think a mere federal maximum security prison in the middle of a military base like Leavenworth could handle these Gods of Evil? They'd simply walk out as if the pen had a revolving door.

These guys fart fireballs and bathe in the blood of infants (the ones they don't eat, of course)!

Can we really afford to have them in our prisons?

All comedy aside, the only major concern is that they aren't put in general population. They wouldn't last five minutes.
