Freddie Mac suicide

David Kellermann, the acting chief financial officer of mortgage giant Freddie Mac, was found dead at his home Wednesday morning in what police said was an apparent suicide.

Mary Ann Jennings, director of public information for the Fairfax County, Va., Police Department, said Kellermann was found dead in his Reston, Va., home. The 41-year-old Kellermann has been Freddie Mac’s chief financial officer since September.

Jennings said that a crime scene crew and homicide detectives were investigating the death, but that there didn’t appear to be any sign of foul play.

The guy worked for Freddie for 18 years. Referring to him as a Bush appointee is disengenious, especially from a guy who does not like to engage in that "my guy did this, your guy did that" sort of thing.

If there were any shenanigans there, he would likely know about those involved, from both parties.

I say he was offed to protect Frank. After all, you saw how he reacted when that Harvard kid asked him about his responsibility for the current mess.

Fraid not. Bush appointed him to spearhead Freddie Mac. Maureen Dowd didn't nickname them WASP Corleones for nothing ya know.

freedom... i don't mind the nasty pm's and i don't mind all the dirty words that comeout of that sweet little mouth of yours. in fact it's no surprise given what's probably stuck in it.LOL

but , hon, they block all the dirty words and there are so many of them i can't make heads or tails of what you are trying to say.

Best is to wait to see what develops with this one. The guy may have many other problems in his personal world. I am a fan of 24, but let's not jump to conclusions.

follow this link to a great deal of evidence and info regarding the case, including images of FBI transcripts obtained from the freedom of information act.

imo the inability to be open to different possibilities despite the suggestion of substantial circumstantial evidence is the telltale sign of a nutcase.

Reminds me of when Gil Smart insinuated that three GIs may have been murdered at the hands of other troops because they wrote an opinion for the New York Times. Ooops. Was I supposed to stick to the script and only mention right wing conspiracy theorists?
