So as you might know, former Pennsyvlania Sen. Rick Santorum writes a column twice a month for the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Guess what he gets paid per column. Just guess.
Wrong:
Former U. S. Sen. Rick Santorum is collecting $1,750 a shot for the columns that appear every other week in the Inquirer, according to documents filed in U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
That’s about 100 bucks per column inch.

That must have been the Inquires last ditch effort to sell papers. When I used to read the Inquire when a lived down there for a bit 12 years ago they were about as lefty as the Kos.
But that being said, you have to give us context to know if this is significant. Like what did the other columnists get paid that had similar runs in the paper?
And give me the chance, I'll write something every 2 weeks for free.

Artie See 4/17/09 2:00 PM | And give me the chance, I'll write something every 2 weeks for free. I wrote a 700 to 800 word print column every week for six months, for free.
All I ever got for it was a small amount of positive feedback. |
