Two 13-year-old girls near Scranton have their cell phone pic snapped in their skivvies. Pic somehow winds up on someone else’s cell phone. As does another pic of a 17-year-old girl without a shirt on.
District Attorney decides that girls are hardened criminals and must “participate in a five-week after-school program followed by probation” and undergo random drug testing, otherwise he’ll charge them with child pornography and open lewdness.
The district attorney has asserted that the girls were accomplices to the production of child pornography because they allowed themselves to be photographed. The district attorney has not, however, threatened to charge the individuals who distributed the photos.
But of course not.
This is America, right?
