Scrawled sign = failed presidency

Oh noes! Obama goes into McCain country and da kiddiez raise objections to his economic plan! Via - who else - Drudge.

And this one’s hilarious. Protests greet Obama! But look at the numbers:

A crowd of about 300 to 400 people stretched along the sidewalk on the south side of Guadalupe Road, closer to the high school, chanting pro-Obama slogans or railing against Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s crackdown on illegal immigration.

And right across the four-lane road was another crowd of about 150 chanting protestors against Obama. They were led for a few minutes by former Arizona Republican Congressman J.D. Hayworth, who briefly commanded a loudspeaker to lead the protest against the president.

So, buncha angry wingers led by a professional winger.

Oh the failed Obama presidency!

Story gets funnier from there:

David Crause, 70, Phoenix, held up a sign scrawled with writing that was too difficult to make out quickly. But he left no doubt where he stood as he criticized Obama’s stimulus plan

It’s hard to write a sign when you’re so OUTRAGED!

Then there’s this:

Jack Clark, 50, Gilbert, held a sign taller than he is that protested the stimulus. It read: “Personal Responsibility: RIP 2009.”

Gee - do you think he takes any personal responsibility for the debacles of the past eight years?

I’m guessing no.

For the next four years at least, Drudge is going to be your source of all things anti-Obama. If there’s an angry winger with a T-shirt somewhere in America - Drudge will find him and attempt to elevate him as representative of the country as a whole, as representative of a trend. But there is no trend. Right-wingers have always been OUTRAGED, and always will be. It’s just that now, after so many years of being in the driver’s seat, they’ve got an easier target for their inexhaustible supply of bile.

With Arizona getting one of the largest shares of mortgage bailout money to allow Arizonians to keep their homes, perhaps now would be a good time for Sen. McCain and Sen. Kyl to come out and tell those people they are mooches and don't deserve any taxpayer bailout.
Out of principle. It just wouldn't be right for these gents to remain silent.

Why the libs hate Drudge is a mystery. All he does is link mainsteam articles and news sources to you via his site. Oh, yeah, I guess it's NOT the articles we want you to read!
And, he was the one who broke the Lewinsky in the oval office story. Bad, Boy, Bad!

And he gets an outrageous number hits daily.

As far as High School kids not buying Obama - they were not allowed in the gym where he spoke...they brought in supporters from the election as they alwyas do during his speeches...that way you get the whoopin' and a a hollerin'. The dopes watching the tube will think that wow, this Obama WILL save us!

It's a slippery slope. The kids won't buy into it after being "taught" that Obama was the answer...they will IM and text message stuff before anyone else knows what happened. It's not a good sign for BHO.

New sod was laid in front of the school Tuesday, and Daudfar said, "The joke at the school is they're going to take it away when he (Obama) leaves."

If you were stupid enough to mortgage 3 times the value of your home, at 5 times your income, you should lose it when you can't pay for it.

Protesters out protesting, how about those cookies Gil Mc stupid. Spend-zilla is a joke, Boomer’s mortgage plan is sure to pee off ½ the country and end up being a loser too, that is if anyone can figure it out.

PS One thing is for sure right now and for the next 4 years it’s Boomer and the demos policies and no one else’s. Wear them with pride.

PSS for me the past 8 years have been the best 8 years of my life, I made them that way not Bush and I expect the next 8 years to be just as good and Boomer will have absolutely nothing to do with it.

Then you are living in a completely different world that most of us.

It is impossible to ignore what has been happening over the last eight years to our freedoms, our relationships with the rest of the world, our Federal budget deficit, our economy, and how badly our local situation has deteriorated - unless you CHOOSE to ignore the sad reality that directly affects all of our lives.

Why must you use the derogatory term "Boomer"? Are you like Rush Limbaugh, and hope that the rightfully elected President of the United States fails? Or are you just angry at being let down by the pseudo-conservative neocons who have hijacked the once-great Republican party for the last decade?

I will be as happy as any Republican when the neocons are finally discredited, and the Republican party once again becomes the upholder of moderation and common sense that it was from the time of Abraham Lincoln, through Theodore Roosevelt, and furthered by Dwight Eisenhower. Even Richard Nixon encouraged policies based on reason.
And I'm a Democrat.

Nixon was the biggest lib in modern times. The fed gov expanded greatly over his tenure. Eisenhower spent like nobody's business. Neither of these two could be confused with a conservative.

And while I voted for obama, and wish his success, I agree about the last eight years.

I have had no infringement on my freedoms, and know nobody that has.

I am more concerned about my federal government's relationship with me than with the rest of the world.

As for the deficit, the rate of spending from one admin to another hasn't improved any. And other than the stim bill, I am hoping the performance so far can be accredited to early jitters and inexperience.

I wish that the campaign message of hope hadn't changed to the presidential message of crisis. I think we need a little optimism.
