Wingnuts gone wild

October 15th, 2008 2:02 pm · 15 comments

And see, you shout “Kill him!” about Obama at a Palin rally, you might get yerself arrested:

The U.S. Secret Service is investigating a threatening remark directed at Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama during a political event in Scranton.

The agency followed up on a report in The Times-Tribune that a member of the crowd shouted, “Kill him!” after one mention of Mr. Obama’s name during a rally Tuesday for Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin…

I want to know what they’re going to come out with at the rally here on Saturday. Guarantee you we get at least one wingnut shouting homicidal fantasies.

Be honest Gil. You'll be disappointed if someone doesn't. Won't you?

Is there any truth to the rumor that you'll be press secretary in an Obama administration Gil?

I may start that rumor. We could really motivate the base to get out and vote.

Might as well Pericles. Just adds more to the lies the McCain campaign has already told.

You mean like, "Barack Obama is a decent American. You have nothing to fear from him." John McCain.

Or, Sarah Palin's child is actually her grandchild. Oops. That's one of yours.

Gil is great, but Robert Gibbs probably has dibs on Obama's press secretary gig.

I'd consider everyone at the rally Saturday to be wingnuts, but I'll put the over/under at 5 of wingnuts spouting homicidal fantasies. She appeals to the basest of the base.

No, not like that. Like this, "I have always supported more regulation."
OR "We've had no associations with lobbyists in this campaign."

If you are accusing me of saying Palin's child is her grandchild, I never said it. Guess I can add 1 more to your lies.

But here's a Palin lie, "That report cleared me of any unethical and unlawful activity"

Correct.

It is much better than calling someone a "terrorist" or "traitor" - or suggesting "kill him" or "off with his head".

I'll see your Sarah Palin quote with "I will fight any FISA bill that contains TELCO immunity" and raise you a "He's just some guy from the neighbor hood".

Google Sarah Palin MILP. And don't forget the Sarah Palin is a C**t Tee shrits.

Using your logic, and Gil Smart’s logic, I suppose than, it was Bill Clinton’s fault when Alec Baldwin got mad about the investigation into Clinton’s tawdry affair with Lewinsky. Let me refresh your memory on what Baldwin said on the Conan O’Brien Show

…..than I suppose I am thinking to myself in other countries they are laughing at us twenty four hours a day and I’m thinking to myself if we were in other countries, we would all right now, all of us together, [starts to shout] all of us together would go down to Washington and we would stone Henry Hyde to death! We would stone him to death! [crowd cheers] Wait! Shut up! Shut up! No shut up! I’m not finished. We would stone Henry Hyde to death and we would go to their homes and we’d kill their wives and their children.

and then we find that the "Kill him" charge is another lie out of the Obama camp to keep people off the scent of his sordid Chicago political machine roots.
