Stocks plunging in Europe and Asia.
Good morning!
Speaking of financial crises, it strikes me that as Sen. McCain goes all negative, all the time this week, we’re going to be talking about another financial crisis - the Keating Five scandal, in which McCain was a central figure. The Obama campaign has created a helpful Web site, including a documentary, so that you might brush up on the whole affair, in which 20,000 mostly elderly folks lost their life savings, in part, thanks to Sen. McCain’s “poor judgment.”
The Obama camp, see, was expecting the Rovian sleaze, and is ready for it. As such, it’s gonna boomerang and whack McCain right in the forehead.
Ancient history, right. But 20 years more current than William Ayers’ shenanigans, no?
