You know, I’ll maybe give Obama points for sitting down with Bill O’Pinhead here, but this, to me, is the huge difference between movement conservatism and whatever it is that I believe - the broad brush, the sledgehammer, the insistence on simple answers to complex issues, versus the realization that no matter how “girly” you may think it, there are nuances, and the sledgehammer approach is the exact reason why the country is where the country is at.
