Prosecutors are now preparing to close the anthrax investigation case.

You do realize we’re about to attribute all this to a lone gunman.

Just sayin’.

WHAT??? Anthrax is so reviled that it doesn't have the right to it's own grassy knoll?

To me, a bit of a different perspective from WaPo.

Kind of convenient for the gov't how nice and tidy this all turned out for them. No tedious trial, no complicated appeal process, no messy death penalty. That was really thoughtful of Mr. Ivins to spare everyone the drama.

Indeed. Can you imagine how ugly it would have gotten if he'd tried to use Sudafed?

What I don’t understand (and I am not being rhetorical) is how one can see clearly that this and the JFK assassination (despite Bugliosi’s magnum opus) on one level or another is a fraud, and while accepting the facts listed below, still think events like these are exceptions and not rules.

The belief that big government and business are as presented is a fairy tale written for adults. As Mario Puzo accurately scribed in his classic tale, “the higher up I go, the more crooked they become.”

-Neil Bush had a scheduled lunch.,which was cancelled, with Scott Hinkley (brother of John) for March 31, 1981, the day after Regan’s assassination attempt.
-George Bush Jr had past and George Bush Sr had current business relationships with the Bin Laden family, prior to the events of 911.
-The Vince Foster suicide.
-The Bush-Clinton-Mena, Arkansas drug smuggling connection.
-The Enron-Bush connections.
-The BCCI scandal in its entirety and the official who authored the senate’s report.
-The Vatican Bank scandal.

(Admittedly the Foster and Mena points are considered ‘open’ for debate, but when reviewed closely the conclusions, in my opinion, are obvious.)

How can one know all of this, yet still discuss the stylings of the emperor’s wardrobe?

Well.... they're very.......er....... reactive to light. Yes, yes, the emperor's clothes react well to light and....well, become lighter, er, looking,,,, I mean, when the war and the economy are going badly and, well... AH $CHIT HE HAS NO DAMNED CLOTHES, OK?!?!?!?

Just don't look at his butt, alright? I mean, he doesn't clean up after it and stuff.
