Any Brian Wilson heads out there?

When I was a kid the Beach Boys were one of the first “rock and roll bands” I listened to, the usual stuff - surf, fun fun fun. Endless Summer. Wasn’t until later I got into Brian Wilson, then went back and listened to the band’s records in a completely different light.

This album is a case in point, maybe the best one the Beach Boys ever recorded; this is the sound of Brian Wilson beginning to leave the surf and the sand behind.
