It’s a talking point, we don’t have to actually understand it

The wingnuttosphere has, of course, been all a’twitter about Obama’s belief that diplomacy and not just guns should be part of our foreign policy. But here we have your typical wingnut shouting “Appeasement! Appeasement!” and when pressed…
Matthews pressed James at least 19 times over five minutes to simply explain what Chamberlain had done in 1938 and 1939 to make him an “appeaser.” James could only shout his talking point over and over, prompting Matthews to threaten to end the interview:
MATTHEWS: You don’t know what you’re talking about, Kevin. You don’t know what you’re talking about. Tell me what Chamberlain did wrong.
JAMES: Neville Chamberlain was an appeaser, Chris. Neville Chamberlain was an appeaser, all right? […]
MATTHEWS: I’ve been sitting here five minutes asking you to say what the president was referring to in 1938 at Munich.
JAMES: I don’t know.
MATTHEWS: You don’t know, thank you.

Besides demogoguing he was again being dishonest.
Obama never said he would negotiate with Iran, he said he would talk with Iran as did Colin Powell, Rice, and others.
Through sublety he changed the word a little and changed the meaning a lot so he could smear Obama.
Bush was just showing how unprofessional he is.
Please Mr President we have had enough of your ugliness.
I would think he would be wanting sympathy from Americans given he may be charged with war crimes in international court.
Instead he just showed his contempt for us.
Go play golf Mr. Bush You fooled no one.
And wait for that tap on the shoulder we all hope is forthcoming. |

But hey McBush minister said he is sorry about all them nasty things he said about Catholics and that makes McBush happy. But I think he still feels Gays caused Huricane Katrina and McBush is ok with that. I am so not ready for President McBush
