What he’s trying to say, of course, is that this wasn’t like an invasion of Poland invasion. It was a totally justified invasion because we were standing up for truth, justice and U.N. resolutions, which we enforce at gunpoint when we feel like it, and often ignore. And so it’s not really an invasion, even though we did, you know, invade.
