McCain’s the man

So McCain wins the GOP nomination - no surprise there -  Obama wins Vermont (ditto) Hillary’s up in Rhode Island,  way up in Ohio and Obama is up in Texas.

Will be interesting to see what Hillary does after tonight, if she loses Texas. My guess is she’ll soldier on, which would be a bad thing for the Democratic Party; but my sense is that Hillary doesn’t much care, infused as she seems to be with a sense of entitlement. As I guy I ran into at Central Market today said, “She’s the past - and people want to move forward into the future.” But if you’re an Ohioan the past - when maybe you had a job, before de-industrialization - looks pretty good, a heck of a lot more secure than the future.

McCain, now, gets to sharpen his message - though really, he’s got to fight on two fronts, against both Obama and Hillary. That’s the drawback for him in a drawn-out Democratic nomination.

Huckabee on teevee conceding right now. VP?
