So Mitt wins in Michigan, and the GOP race is wide-open - Huckabee in Iowa, McCain in New Hampshire and now the Mittster.
I like that Ron Paul outpolled both Fred Thompson and Rudy. But clearly this race has narrowed to the top three candidates. Mitt is the movement candidate - his constituency is people who still like Bush, and presumably Mitt would provide four more years of the same. Abhorrent as that thought may be to some, it appears to appeal to many. Which means, as one of Sullivan’s readers notes, it could well be Hillary versus Mitt in the fall. Talk about the lesser of two evils.
