Fox, alone

New Hampshire GOP pulls out of Fox debate tomorrow night because Fox insists on excluding Ron Paul.

Paul’s polling better than Fred Thompson in the state - but Old Fred is permitted to participate. Because, you see, he hasn’t badmouthed our Great Patriotic War.

""We look forward to presenting a substantive forum which will serve as the first program of its kind this election season," David Rhodes, vice president of Fox News, said in a statement"

More similar on the way. OK, so FOX has eliminated Paul. Who at FOX makes such calls? If this isn't a crystal clear window into media control, I don't know what would qualify. This is our much ballyhooed democratic election we're talking about. And one of the media biggies has had the affrontery not to include one particular candidate. BRAZENLY IN THE OPEN.

The other media outlets are all but silent. Days not long gone, there was a type of competition between outlets that would have seized this opportunity to show the other as faulty. What should that tell you? Quit hitting the snooze button.

Over at Clinton News Network, CNN decided it was a "unique opportunity" to replay past debates. How original,CNN! Talk about old news, that is how they respond to Fox. Who's the knucklehead exec who ordered that?

They COULD have shown a "save the earth" story with lost polar bears or a story on Iraq citizens who STILL don't have cable TV.

The debate on Fox was one of the best to date. Wallce challenged each candidate and actually followed up on the questions.

If you can stand it, watch O'Reilly challenge a big fellow - an Obama aid who tried to stop O'Reilly trying to report on Obama's rally. It supposed to be on tonight.

Here is Slate's version then compare to what is shown tonight.

Crooks and Liars has a like to a YouTube video showing Ron Paul supporters going after Sean Hammity.
I guess the wack-job conservative/Faux Spews love affair is over. laugh.gif
