Well it's certainly nice to hear that someone in government has a brass pair, however, I just can't stop thinking it's nothing more than campaign rhetoric. Where was Biden, and those like minded, when it became clear that the illegal invasion of Iraq was based on lies and adulterated information? Impeachment was the clear alternative, then. That window of opportunity was lost.

And,If bush & co were to act on their desire to attack Iran there is nothing Joe Biden, you, nor I, along with millions of Americans, can do about it. As far as I can see, we're (Americans) up the proverbial creek with out a paddle.

One only has to look at what the Moron-American segment of the population did to the Dixie Chick to understand that going against The Monkey would have been political suicide. For that you can thank the Old Media's rentless shilling of anything dick Cheney said about Iraq as gospel.
Oh and BTW, Bush the Lesser's popularity with military famlies is slightly higer than his approval in the general population. Only 36% think Iraq was a good idea.

Meat, can you define "Old Media"?

The print and broadcast media.
Specifically newspapers like the Lancaster New Error, Washington Post, and the New York Times. Also radio and TV personalities like Tim Russert, Chris Matthews, Rush Limbaugh, and Bill O'Reily. People who aren't above outright lies or major distortion of facts to smear those they hate. Mostly Democrats.
The premier site for exposing these charlatans and their canards is Bob Somerby's www.dailyhowler.com.

Other sites to check include www.mediamatters.org and www.crooksandliars.com

If you happen to read this today, Friday Dec. 7 (Pearl Harbour Day) click on the dailyhowler link for Bob's essay, it's a good one.
