Blinded by the fright

Our Glorious Leader:

President Bush compared Congress’ Democratic leaders Thursday to people who ignored the rise of Lenin and Hitler early in the last century, saying “the world paid a terrible price” then and risks similar consequences for inaction today.

Because Ahmadinejad has the Wehrmacht at his dispoal and he’s about to march on Poland.

Honsetly, I know The Decider is stupid, but is he really this stupid? There’s lots of “evil men” in the world - always have been, always will be. But is he really this fearful, so frightened that he’s going to compare Hitler, who possessed the globe’s most powerful armed forces at the time, or Lenin, who took hold of Russia’s unbelievably vast resources, with Iran - with a puny military a mere laughable fraction of our own?

That may, worst-case scenario, get a bomb - compared to our arsenal?

That “wants to wipe Israel off the map” - even though Israel, eight years ago, was already estimated to have at minimum 60 nuclear warheads, and probably more?

Are the conservatives who run this country such fearful children that they cannot understand that Ahmadinejad is not Hitler, and that there is no comparison? Or do all the bogeymen lurking beneath the bed automatically become Hitler, merely because in conservatives’ simpering, cringing state, they can’t tell the difference?

"History teaches us that underestimating the words of evil, ambitious men is a terrible mistake," Bush said.

The sad part about this is the old media will be pounding the drums of war. This includes the hacks at the New Error.

BTW: Hey guys have you ever apologized to AL Gore about your mindless repitition of all those smears?

Al should be thanking them. If he was President, he would not be making hundreds of millions of dollars and he would not be preaching to the world that PA will be the next Florida. Watch out when he starts buying up lots of our real estate.

and we should thank the media for? 911? All the dead people in New Orleans? The devalued dollar? Oil reaching $100 a barrel?
