Rush is confused

Well yes; we know this. But now, in the wake of his “phony soldiers” comment, he’s trying to claim he was only dissing those who never really served, only pretended to have served.

Like, you know, John Murtha.

Indeed, Limbaugh parroted the line on the air yesterday, telling his critics, “I never said what you think I said.” As part of his explanation about being literal, and not metaphorical, Limbaugh cited Rep. John Murtha (D-Pa.) as one of the veterans who deserves the “phony” label. That would be the same Murtha who earned the Bronze Star with Valor device, two Purple Hearts, the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry, and the Navy Distinguished Service Medal.

Got that? “Phony soldiers” was a literal reference to those who’ve lied about serving, a list which Limbaugh believes should include decorated war hero Jack Murtha.

Must be the OxyContin talking.

I don't listen to Rush, so I have no idea if it is Oxycontin talking. Nor can I comment on speculation for the reason of Rush's confusion.

However, no offense Gil, but whats the reason for yours? I told you before and will say it again, your obsession with "wingers" isn't healthy or normal.

It seems pathological.

Concidering the damage the Bush administration has done to America, with the blessings of the "wingers" I'd say Gil Smart's concern is spot on.

Ghouldie, you claim to be pro-life, why then do you have no objection to Bush's Iraq murder spree's killing of innocents?

Why are you not objecting to Bush's enablers? Bill O'Riely, Ann Coulter, and Rush Limbaugh.

Where did you get the idea I condone war. I am opposed to all taking of human life, whether it is in war, capital punishment or abortion. But you already knew that.

As for Rush, Bill O'Reilly, and Ann Coulter, I pay no attention to them, just as I don't pay any attention to the liberals in media. With the exception to Gil Smart of course, I read his rants...er...I mean his liberal blogs.

Do you think they will go away if you ignore them, while millions of others listen to them with rapt adoration?

Maybe you should listen to them, and then think about the notion that too many of your countrymen think they are "the light and the way".

You might possibly find yourself reading Gil's writing through different eyes wink.gif

No, city, Ghouldie equates the party that tells a woman in dire straights that it's between her and her Creator what she does with the party that cheers each time a ton of H E turns innocent Iraqi women and children into hamburger surrounded by a red mist.
