Talked to one long-time critic who said she was “ecstatic” at the news. I’d expect Bishop takes Curt Baker with her; and then we’re back to Square One in SDoL.

Given all the district’s problems, this superintendent hopping can’t help. Maybe the school board needs to focus less on finding a marquee player, a rising star, and finding someone who commits to sticking around for a while.
