Fox gets aced out

Good. You remember how the wingers got their knickers in a collective twist when first John Edwards, then Obama and Clinton pulled out of a previously scheduled debate on Fox becauseĀ - obviously - Fox News is so overtly biased that there is no way the Democratic candidates would get anything remotely resembling a “fair and balanced” shake.
So now the DNC announces its official schedule of debates: CNN and NBC get two, ABC and CBS get one apiece.
Fox? Bupkis.
It’s a smart move, and sends a message. I suspect neither Fox nor its viewers will comprehend that message. But Democratic primary voters most certainly do.

lanzate 5/16/07 9:19 PM | Everyone likes control. The DNC looks at FOX and sees a maverick they cannot control.
Nothing like being spoon-fed from our national media.

QUOTE ... Pew judged the levels of knowledgeability (correct answers) among those surveyed and found that those who scored the highest were regular watchers of Comedy Central's The Daily Show and Colbert Report. They tied with regular readers of major newspapers in the top spot -- with 54% of them getting 2 out of 3 questions correct. Watchers of the Lehrer News Hour on PBS followed just behind.
Virtually bringing up the rear were regular watchers of Fox News. Only 1 in 3 could answer 2 out of 3 questions correctly. Fox topped only network morning show viewers. ...
Faux Spews viewers dumber than dirt.

Save-the-Land 6/9/07 7:30 AM | These candidates are afraid to get tough questions thrown at them. They aren't skipping this one on principle - they don't want to face the tough questions. They all lose my respect on this point. It's their lose and the American peoples lose not Fox News. How will any one of these candidates handle a hostile press if they are elected?
Let's remember these are all Democratic candidates, it's not like they are debating a rebublican challenger that could get easier questions......they all would have to face the same challenge.

usedmeat 6/9/07 2:05 PM | QUOTE They aren't skipping this one on principle - they don't want to face the tough questions. Go to Youtube and type in "Fox attacks Obama" and watch. Then tell me that the Democratic Party should legitimise Fox News by allowing them to host a debate. |
bigstew 6/10/07 4:40 PM | They are just typical cowards. Didn't the repubs do one on MSNBC with keith "I love lefties" olbermann? |
usedmeat 6/10/07 11:27 PM | QUOTE Didn't the repubs do one on MSNBC with keith "I love lefties" olbermann? No. Keith Olbermann covered the debate for MSNBC. They wackos were upset because he rightly pointed out Rudi Kasuti's changing stance on abortion in his attempted pandering to the extreme right.
Faux Spews has repeatedly broadcast lies and distortions about Democrats.
