Lancaster County’s bicycle map, created by the Lancaster County Planning Commission four years ago, is due for an upgrade.
Lauri Ahlskog, the county’s bicycle and pedestrian planner, is compiling text changes to be made to the map before reprinting.

Fall Classic Oct. 21 in Hershey

The first Hershey Fall Classic bicycle ride will be held Sunday,  Oct. 21, beginning at 8 a.m., on the grounds of the Milton Hershey School.
There will be three 31-mile courses offered to riders. Two of the circuits may be combined for a 100-kilometer — or “metric century” — ride called “the hills of Hershey.”

State promotes bicycle tourism

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has completed ‘Route V,’ the state’s ninth signed route for bicycle tourism.
