Great day in Grandview

Bicycle racers came from across the mid-Atlantic and spectators came from inside their homes to the Grandview Grand Prix criterium race on Saturday. About 240 racers participated in the various categories that ranged from beginner to professional. About another 50 children competed in free kids’ races.

The under-25 riders of the Tour of Pennsylvania tore through northern Lancaster County this morning on their way to Carlisle.

Local bicycle racing team Spinners Cycling has stepped in to revive a second race that was cancelled earlier this month with the sudden demise of RedRoseRaces.com.
