Spin-A-Thon this Saturday

spinclipart.gifToday is the last day to register for the LETSPIN Spin-A-Thon, being held at the Hempfield Rec Center from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. This is the seventh year the event has been held. LETSPIN - Lancaster Events To Support People in Need - is holding the spinning event to benefit local families affected by autism.

Registration, through Active.com, is $25 for individuals, $15 for students and $50 for teams. On-line registration closes at 5 p.m. Afterward, there will be walk-up registration at the Hempfield Rec Center, 950 Church Road, Landisville, on Friday, from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday at the event. There is no guarantee a spin bike will be available for walk-in registration.

The Spin-A-Thon will be led by a different spin instructor from a different gym each hour. So far, 234 people have already registered to participate.
