COBYS Family Services, a social service agency based in Lancaster County, will hold a fund-raising event Sunday, Sept. 7 that includes options of 10- and 25-mile bicycle rides, a three-mile walk and a 60-mile motorcycle ride. The walk and the rides begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Lititz Church of the Brethren.

Last year, the annual event drew 550 Bike & Hike participant and raised more than $68,000 for COBYS ministries. This year’s goals are 600 participants and $75,000.
Registration for the event is $25 per person. The fee is waived for those who receive at least that amount in pledges. Participants receive a T-shirt, ice cream, refreshments and an opportunity to win door prizes.

A Christian non-profit agency, located at 1417 Oregon Road, Leola, COBYS provides adoption and foster care services, counseling, family life education, and a home for teen mothers.
