The Cycle Smart team reached Montezuma Creek, Utah, - the twelfth time station in the cross-country, non-stop Race Across America - late this morning.

That places the two-man, two woman team 719 miles into the 3,000-mile race. At their 17.23 mph average pace since starting the race at 5 p.m. Wednesday, they are expected to reach the finish line in Annapolis, Md. just after midnight Thursday.

The team of Mike Ridgeway, Bob Ansell, Robin Smith and Denise Stone remains in fourth place among the six teams in the “four-person mixed” category. They are the first Lancaster team to participate in the epic race.
