A second Category 4/5 men’s race has been added to the schedule for this Saturday’s Kirkwood Road Race to meet demand.
The first Cat 4/5 race, with a field limit of 75 riders, was full last week before the second race was added to the end of the schedule. This morning, there were 73 riders registered for the first race and another 29 already registered for the second race. The race with the most confirmed riders this morning was the Cat 4 men’s race. That had 74 riders registered and a field limit of 90. In total, there are 302 riders already registered.
Online registration for the southern Lancaster County race is at BikeReg. It closes at 8 p.m. Thursday.
