The Turkey Hill Dairy Country Classic returns with running and cycling races and other events for the whole family on Saturday, May 3.
The ninth-annual event is scheduled to have three cycling races in the morning. The first is for professionals and category 1/2/3 riders. The second is for category 3/4 riders. The third is for masters racers age 40+. Afternoon races are for age 50+ and 60+ masters racers, category 4/5 and category 5 racers.
The organizers, Manor Township, has applied for U.S. Cycling sanctioning. The permit is pending.
Registration, ranging in cost from $15 to $35 per race, is available online until Thursday, May 1, or at the event.
Last year, the cat 3/4 and cat 5 races filled in advance. There were 329 registered riders and the elite race brought professionals Brad Viera, Joshua Taylor and Stephan Kincaid from the Rite Aid team, Kyle Wamsley of the Navigators team, and Bobby Lea of Toyota-United.
