The weather outside is frightful ….
So, it is appropriate the first charity ride is actually inside and in place. There will be spin-a-thon to benefit the Daniel’s Den playground project on Saturday, March 8, at Clipper Magazine Stadium.
There are already 125 riders registered for the eight-hour event. Many of those riders are registered for all eight hours.
The event to be held in the Wheatland and Buchanan skybox rooms, on the second floor of Clipper Magazine Stadium, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be spin class instructors from local fitness clubs L.A. Fitness, Formula Fitness, Workouts and the Hamilton Club leading the group during the day.
Registration for the event is $25, but participants are encouraged to raise additional donations for Daniel’s Den, a playground project for children with disabilities.
There will be free T-shirts for all riders who register before Feb. 22, replacement fluids and childcare available and random hourly prize drawings during the event.
