Charity spin-a-thon on March 8

Cannondale sold - fate of Bedford plant uncertain

Canada-based Dorel Industries announced Monday that it had purchased bicycle manufacturer Cannondale for between $190 million and $200 million.
The announcement was reportedly made at Cannondale’s Bedford, Pa. factory. The company’s official statement said that no changes were planned for Cannondale’s operation. It is slated to become the flagship brand, atop Dorel’s GT, Schwinn and Mongoose brands.
