Charity ride on Saturday

There will be a charity bicycle ride on Saturday to benefit the Corner of Hope, a clothing bank in Leola.

The rideĀ - actually two rides, of either 10 or 23 miles in length - leave from the Corner of Hope, 52 W. Main St., Leola, at the rear of the Upper Leacock Fire Company building. The event will be from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Food will be provided and there will also be a raffle and gifts. The registration cost is $15 each for adults and $5 for children under age 14. Riders can register on Saturday. Helmets are required for participation.

Corner of Hope, a ministry of Zion Lutheran Church, Leola, gives free clothing and toiletries to people in need.
