Track Season Opens

The Lehigh Valley Velodrome begins its professional racing season Friday night with Red Robin 21st annual Keirin Cup.

velodrome.jpgRacing at the Trexlertown velodrome begins at 7:30 p.m. 

The opening event of the 2007 Valley Preferred Professional Race Series, Keirin Cup will host riders from Italy, Germany, Australia, Norway, Malaysia, Canada, Mexico, Trinidad, Puerto Rico, Holland, Denmark, Argentina, Hungary, and the United States.

Also on the bill is the “Alaric Gayfer Junior Memorial Series 5 mile Final.”

Tickets are available online in advance, at a cost of $4.50-$8.50 each. More information is available at: http://www.lvvelo.org/
