in Philadelphia is over. It seemed to fly by, really. Flashing the heart and people skills for which they’ve become famous, the Eagles released the former McCaskey and Syracuse QB Wednesday, after signing him to a free agent contract Tuesday. He was a quasi-Eagle for one day.

Patterson’s agent, Jerry Tierney, announced the signing today.
