Penn State-Temple prediction

Coming to you live from Lancaster Catholic, where the mood is ruined, and that may be an understatement, by an ankle injury to Crusaders’ stud QB Kyle Smith. The expected epic battle with Manheim Central (both teams are ranked #2 in the state in their classes by Pa. Football News) probably can’t materialize without him.

So let’s talk about another apparent non-epic. You’re going to think I’m kidding about this, but Temple has a chance to be pretty good defensively, is long overdue to get some breaks, and I still think Al Golden can coach. I have a feeling the Nits might not react well if it isn’t easy.

It could easily be 55-0, but I have a funny feeling about this.

Penn State 30, Temple 20.

No, seriously.
