Penn State-Iowa prediction

Coming at you live from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, were it’s snowing. And blowing. And colder than cold. There’s a downtown bar/restaurant/shop area in Iowa City (where the U. is) that would be really nice in normal conditions, but I nearly lost the will to live walking around there last night.

What this means for the football game: Iowa has a great running back, and a very good run defense. In this weather, those are very good things to have. My belief in Penn State’s O-line was shaken a bit by the Ohio State game. Regarding Penn State, there’s been way too much national championship and BCS talk lately that sort of skips over these last three games. as if three wins go without saying. It’s got to be hard for the Penn State kids to completely crowd that out of their minds. Then there’s whatever post-concussion issues Daryll Clark is dealing with.

I have a funny feeling about this.

Iowa 17, Penn State 16
