Lancaster Christian senior Ryan Goldsmith, who competes for McCaskey’s track and field team, competed in the Atlanta Marathon last weekend.
Goldsmith finished in 4:02.59, good for 459th place amongst male runners, and good for 116th place in his age division (18-29).
More than 15,000 runners competed in the Atlanta Marathon.

Hempfield topped Harrisburg 39-21 and McCaskey held off Red Lion 45-42 Monday night in District 3 Quad-A consolation-round game.
That means the Black Knights and the Red Tornado both locked up a spot in the state playoffs, and that Hempfield and McCaskey will renew their rivalry in the district fifth-place game, set for Thursday.
