Cocalico’s Santoro finishes second in Denny’s All-American Bowling Championships

Cocalico High School senior Samantha Santoro competed in the Denny’s All-American High School Championships recently in North Brunswick, N.J., and finished second after Natalie Cortese of Hoffman Estates, Ill., topped her 239-193 in the championship game.
Santoro matched Cortese’s seven strikes, but a pocket 4-9 split and missed 10 pin were the difference in the match.

Cocalico’s Samantha Santoro breaks her own national bowling series record

Cocalico senior Samantha Santoro, the reigning state girls’ high school bowling champ, is back in the record books.
On Sunday, Sept. 30, Santoro broke the United States Bowling Congress girls’ youth record national series record that she set back in May.

Current helps Wichita State win national bowling crown
