Another nice charity event coming up …
When Solanco hosts Garden Spot in a Week 9 L-L League Section 2 football game on Friday, Oct. 30, the teams will celebrate “United in Fighting Cancer” night in Quarryville.
Both schools will be selling t-shirts to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
If you purchase a t-shirt for $10 that will also serve as your ticket into the football game on Oct. 30, and all proceeds from t-shirt sales will go to the ACS.
T-shirts are being sold on a pre-order basis only. Order forms are available at all Solanco school district buildings, as well as Groff’s Printing and Life Song in Quarryville.
Order forms are also available at Solanco High School through the end of this school week.
